Soldiers assigned to 774th Explosive Ordnance Disposal, 242nd Explosive Ordnance Battalion, work with a TALON remotely operated bomb disposal robot at Joint Multinational Readiness Center, Hohenfels Training Area, Oct. 21. A TALON robot is able to operate in sand, snow, water, and is even able to climb stairs. The claw of a TALON robot is sensitive enough to disarm homemade explosive devices and powerful enough to drag a fully armed Soldier. (U.S. Army photo by Spc. Adeline Witherspoon)
