A Royal Australian Air Force KC-30A is prepped for a formation departure with a U.S. Air Force KC-10 Extender from an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia, Oct. 24, 2016. This is the first time U.S. and RAAF air refueling platforms have flown in formation together. The combined refuelers were capable of delivering more than 576,000 pounds of fuel to coalition aircraft supporting the liberation of Mosul, Iraq.
