An Airman from the 380th Air Expeditionary Wing hangs a U.S. Flag inside of a KC-10 Extender preparing for flight from an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia, Oct. 26, 2016. This flag will be recognized for flying during Operation Inherent Resolve and the in support of the liberation of Mosul, Iraq. Service members can request to have American flags flown aboard U.S. military aircraft, generally on any day they choose; they are often given as gifts or kept as a personal memorabilia of a certain combat operation.
