U.S. Marine Sgt. Kervin Morales and Sgt. David Noe, both combat engineers with Combat Engineer Platoon, Task Force Koa Moana 16-4, rip out an old ceiling panel during an Engineer Civil Assistance Project at a local clinic in Port Vila, Vanuatu, Oct. 27, 2016. Marines teamed up with the Vanuatu Mobile Force to renovate the clinic after it was degraded by Cyclone Pam last year. The Koa Moana exercise seeks to enhance senior leader engagements between allied and partner nations in the Pacific with a collective interest in relations and to discuss key aspects of operations, capability development and interoperability in the South Pacific.
