FORT LEAVENWORTH, Kansas – The 451st Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) was honored to host Command Sgt. Maj. Daniel Dailey, the CSM of the United States Army, Command Sgt. Maj. Ted Copeland, the CSM for the 79th Sustainment Support Command, and Command Sgt. Maj. Donald Langworthy, the CSM for the 451st ESC on the first day of the annual 451st ESC 1SGT Workshop July 14, 2016 at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. The Non-Commissioned Officers opened the workshop providing guidance, advice, and leadership tools for which was well received by the participates.
CSM Dailey provided leadership insight into unit readiness, tuition assistance benefits, the new sleeve rolling policy, and the benefits of social media. CSM Dailey’s final take-away words to Soldiers were, “Don’t forget the things you said you wouldn’t do when you made 1SGT and the things you said you would. Lastly, never ever forget that you are still a Soldier, no different than any other Soldier.”
