    US, Polish forces conduct anti-tank cross-training

    DRAWSKO POMORSKIE, Poland – A paratrooper assigned to Company D, 2nd Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade, fires an M136 AT4 anti-tank weapon during anti-tank training with the 16th Polish Airborne Battalion, 6th Airborne Brigade, in Studnica, Poland, Oct. 29, 2016. Paratroopers were able to hone their marksmanship skills with the AT4 anti-tank weapon, RPG-7D Anti-Tank Grenade Launcher, M320 grenade launcher and .50-caliber machine guns. The “Sky Soldiers” of D Co., 2nd Bn., 503rd Inf. Regt., are on a training rotation in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve, a U.S. led effort in Eastern Europe that demonstrates U.S. commitment to the collective security of NATO and dedication to enduring peace and stability in the region. The 173rd Airborne Brigade, based in Vicenza, Italy, is the Army Contingency Response Force in Europe, and is capable of projecting forces to conduct a full range of military operations across the United States European, Central and Africa Command areas of responsibility within 18 hours.
