ARABIAN GULF (Oct. 30, 2016) Seaman Alex Kleinke, from Wauwatosa, Wisc., sands the tail rudder of an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to the Dusty Dogs of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 7 to prevent corrosion in the hangar bay of the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) (Ike). Kleinke serves aboard Ike as aviation structural mechanic and is responsible for general maintenance and overall troubleshooting for the helicopter. Ike and its Carrier Strike Group are deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
