Sergeant Scott Hencye, 23, from Lexington, Ohio, is a non-commissioned officer-in-charge of the staff section with Headquarters Battalion, 1st Marine Division (Forward). The 2005 Lexington High School graduate carries the battle colors during a battalion run in honor of Independence Day, at Camp Leatherneck, July 3. Hencye and his fellow Headquarters Bn., Marines and sailors are deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
