Members of the Italian Carabinieri and Somalia Police Force, train at a shooting range in support of Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa in Djibouti, Djibouti, Oct. 30, 2016. The Carabinieri is in charge of training mission MAIDIT Somalia 6, which is the mission of training the Somali Police Force in order to promote the stability and security of the entire region of the Horn of Africa. Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa is a multinational effort to conduct theater security cooperation, combat violent extremism and enable freedom of movement within East Africa in order to defend U.S. interests and support aligned regional efforts.
