Nearly 30 sailors from Naval Base Kitsap (NBK) volunteered to set-up, clean-up, keep score, present awards and help in lanes during the event, hosted by Special Olympics Washington which provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
