Light armored vehicles (LAV-25s), with 1st Light Armored Reconaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division, take up firing positions during a field exercise aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., Oct. 25, 2016. The exercise was held as part of a week-long Marine Corps Combat Readiness Evaluation. Marines undergo MCCREs to ensure combat readiness before deployments.
