Cpl. Archie Steele reenlisted with 20 other Marines at a mass reenlistment October 27, 2016 at Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan. Steele reenlisted to stay in Okinawa and bring his wife and daughter from the Philippines to be with him. “I have been to many countries,” said Steele. “The command I am in takes care of me so I had a good experience.” Monitors and career planners were given an opportunity to see the Marines face to face about their permanent change of duty station. Monitors and career planners are from Manpower Management Division Enlisted Assignments, Headquarters United States Marine Corps. Steele, from the Philippines, is a shipping non-commissioned officer with Combat Logistics Regiment 35, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
