BAGRAM AIRFIELD, AFGHANISTAN (Nov. 9, 2016) - Hangar Building 960 has provided a home and operational headquarters for U.S. Army MEDEVAC aviation units here for more than a decade. Originally built by the U.S. for the Afghan government in the 1950's, the building is scheduled for demolition later this year. The hangar has been used by the Russians in the 1980's and the Taliban until they were ousted by American Forces in 2002. Photo by Bob Harrison, U.S. Forces Afghanistan Public Affairs.
