Broderick Berkhout, from Vermillion, South Dakota, during a change of command ceremony for the Blue Crew of the guided-missile submarine USS Ohio (SSGN 726). Ohio is currently forward-deployed to Guam, where they conduct surveillance, training, and other critical missions in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations.
