Firefighters Michele Santagiuliana and Damon Favor assigned to U.S. Army Garrison Italy, practice rappelling at the Army Training Command tower, 34 feet high, during Department of Defense Technical Rope Rescue 1, at Caserma Ederle, Vicenza, Italy, Nov. 10, 2016. Firefighters here received training from instructors of the 435th Construction and Training Squadron, Ramstein Air Base, Germany. Training consisted of a variety of rescue techniques and scenarios including operational risk management, incident management system, ground support for helicopter operations and confined space rescue.
