Cpl. Chelsey Young, a combat engineer with Engineer Company, Combat Logistics Battalion 5, 1st Marine Logistics Group (Forward), recites the Noncommissioned Officer’s Creed during a Corporals Course graduation ceremony at Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan, July 17. Young, 20, from Westland, Mich., completed the 3-week course with a near-perfect average of 99, earning the title of honor graduate. For her achievement, she was presented with an NCO sword by Sgt. Maj. Phillip Fascetti, 1st Marine Division sergeant major and guest speaker for the graduation. One of the most important things she learned during the 3-week course was to ‘always take care of your Marines,’ she said.
