DAHLGREN, Va. (Nov. 18, 2016) - Capt. Godfrey Weekes, incoming commanding officer of Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), thanks Capt. Brian Durant, center, outgoing NSWCDD commanding officer, during a change of command ceremony held at Naval Support Facility Dahlgren. Rear Adm. Tom Druggan, commander of the Naval Surface Warfare Center, right, was the ceremony's guest speaker. NSWCDD's mission is to provide research, development, test and evaluation, analysis, systems engineering, integration and certification of complex naval warfare systems related to surface warfare and strategic systems as well as combat and weapons systems associated with surface warfare.
