A combat logistics patrol led by Marines from Alpha Company, Combat Logistics Battalion 6, 1st Marine Logistics Group (Forward) stopped for a brief security halt at sunset, July 12. The convoy delivered fuel, building materials and communications equipment to the Marines of the 3rd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment based at Forward Operating Base Nolay, located on the outskirts of Helmand’s volatile Sangin District.
