She and the Undersecretary of the Army visited U.S. Army Central Soldiers deployed overseas during Thanksgiving. During their visit, the two played Ping-Pong, toured boats, ate with Soldiers and ran, or cheered, at the Camp Arifjan Turkey Trot 5k.
