Minutes before the opening kickoff of the 2016 Florida Classic, Army Master Sgt. Shantell D. Aviles, noncommissioned officer-in-charge, Office of the Inspector General, 143d Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), shakes hands with two drum majors from the Florida A&M University marching band Nov. 19, 2016, at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Fla. Aviles, a native of Rockledge, Fla., grew up watching the Florida Classic. Although she and her family are no strangers to seeing the game from the stands, Aviles had never before set foot on the sidelines. With a smile never left her face, she took full advantage of the exclusive press pass to take photos with the mascots, shake hands with the band members and cheer her FAMU Rattlers from the end zone.
