Soldiers from the 150th Engineer Battalion constructed one of the first bridges across the Rhine during World War II. The battalion became a part of the Mississippi National Guard and transitioned to a Brigade Special Troops Battalion in 2006 as part of the 155th Armored Brigade Combat Team, Mississippi Army National Guard. The BSTB recently transitioned back to the 150th Brigade Engineer Battalion.
