Students perform a fuels landing gear inspection during the F-16 Aircraft Maintenance Apprentice Course in Hangar 1040 at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas, July 16. The students train for 58 academic days at Sheppard before going to Luke AFB, Ariz., to complete their training. The course at Sheppard lays the foundation for all Air Force F-16 maintainers on the general skills needed to work on a flightline and maintain fighter aircrafts.
