In this image, released by the Texas Army National Guard, Capt. Roel Resurez (front) of Houston, Texas, and 1st Lt. Roland Awah (back) of Richmond, Texas, join the rest of their Texas Army National Guard unit, Alpha Company, 72nd Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 72nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, in waiting to turn in their individual body army to the Fort Bliss Mobilization and Deployment Brigade, July 22. The company returned to Biggs Airfield, Fort Bliss, El Paso, earlier in the day after being deployed to Iraq in December 2009. Their mission was to provide care, custody and control of some of the most volatile detainees in Iraq. Alpha Company is scheduled to leave Fort Bliss within one week to reunite with their families at their home-station in Pasadena, Texas.
