Marines with Alpha Company, 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, provide security during a simulation of Operation Gotchic Serpent at landing zone 216, aboard MCB Hawaii, Dec. 10, 2016. Operation Gothic Serpent was a military operation conducted by U.S. special operations forces with the primary mission of capturing faction leader Mohamed Farrah Aidid.
