A Group 3 (Tactical) Unmanned Aerial System, the Outlaw G2E, replicating a surrogate UAS threat in the same category as the U.S. Army’s RQ-7B Shadow, conducts aerial reconnaissance of the rotational training unit at the National Training Center, Fort Irwin, Calif., during an NTC rotation, Nov. 6, 2016. The Outlaw UAS has significantly improved the Regiments intelligence collection capability during rotations, which greatly enhances the overall training experience for the RTU.
