A joint task force of more than 700 service members have set up temporary quarters in Moamba, Mozambique, during Exercise SHARED ACCORD. As a part of SA10, the task force will work alongside FADM soldiers to increase their capacity for peace operations. SHARED ACCORD is an annual, bi-lateral field training exercise aimed at conducting small unit infantry and staff training with partner nations for the purpose of peace and stability operations. This year’s SA is being held in Mozambique. The 10-day exercise is scheduled to conclude Aug. 13. All U.S. forces will return to their home bases in Europe and the U.S. at the end of the exercise.
