CHINHAE, Republic of Korea (Dec. 19, 2016) Rear Adm. Brad Cooper, the commander of U.S. Naval Forces Korea (CNFK), meets with Republic of Korea (ROK) Rear Adm. Lee, Byeung-Kweon, the commander of ROK Naval Logistics Command, during an office call in Chinhae. Cooper is in Chinhae this week to speak with his ROK Navy partners to discuss ways to broaden and strengthen the ROK and U.S. naval alliance. CNFK is the U.S. Navy's representative in the ROK, providing leadership and expertise in naval matters to improve institutional and operational effectiveness between the two navies and to strengthen collective security efforts in Korea and the region.
