Brandon Sokora, 100th Civil Engineer Squadron commander, shares his story of how he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in September 2011, and how his youngest daughter was born a congenital amputee at a lunch celebrating National Disability Employment Awareness Month on RAF Mildenhall, England, Oct. 7, 2016. Although he faced a medical evaluation board because of it, he fought and proved he was still capable of serving the U.S. Air Force to the best of his ability and leading as a commander.
