KEY WEST, Florida (Aug. 23, 2016) A B-1 bomber from the Air Force’s 9th Bomb Squadron, out of Dyess Air Force Base, takes off at Naval Air Station Key West’s Boca Chica field Tuesday in support of Joint Interagency Task Force South’s mission of detection and monitoring of illicit trafficking across all domains. Key West is a state-of-the-art facility for air-to-air combat fighter aircraft of all military services and provides world-class pierside support to U.S. and foreign naval vessels.
