A UH-60 is secured into the massive cargo bay an Air Force C-17 Globemaster at Joint Base Balad, Iraq, July 14. In its first-ever mission of this type, the 402nd Army Field Support Brigade, took control of 31 Blackhawks from the 25th Combat Aviation Brigade, and is responsible for the transfer and reset of the aircraft to Kuwait, Fort Drum, N.Y., and Hunter Army Airfield, Ga. This marks the first time the 402nd AFSB has signed for aircraft on its property books.
