Seaman Xiao Yang Xing, from Queens, N.Y., removes cargo netting from a pallet of supplies aboard the aircraft carrier USS George Washington during a vertical replenishment with the Military Sealift Command dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Amelia Earhart. George Washington, the Navy's only permanently forward-deployed aircraft carrier, is underway helping to ensure security and stability in the western Pacific Ocean.
