Domond served as a Creole translator for the USS Iwo Jima leaders and key leaders of Haiti. Salvador and Haiti National Police led Marines and sailors to various mission sites in Port-de-Paix in preparation for military personnel and non-government officials to conduct humanitarian civic assistance as part of Operation Continuing Promise 2010.
