Vladimyr Merci, a native of Liancourt, Haiti, and supply chief with Marine Air Control Squadron 2, Command Element of Special-Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force Continuing Promise 2010, talks to Haitians awaiting medical care in Saint-Louis de Nord, Haiti, July 26. Throughout Haiti, Merci served as a Creole translator to key leaders from Haiti and the USS Iwo Jima. Service members are deployed in support of CP10 to provide humanitarian assistance and disaster relief to the Caribbean, Central and South America.
