A Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicle is loaded onto the back of a Heavy Equipment Transport System by 2nd platoon, 1166th Combat CHET Company, 164th Transportation Battalion, on Forward Operating Base Speicher, Aug. 15. The MRAPs were taken from FOB Warrior and delivered to Contingency Operating Base Speicher as part of the responsible drawdown of forces in Iraq. From COB Speicher, they will be delivered to Kuwait and, from there, go back to the states or go on to Afghanistan to support the troop surge there.
