A sea of red and gray proceeds along Pennsylvania Avenue as the Virginia Military Institute Corps of Cadets marches past the White House reviewing stand during the 58th Presidential Inauguration Parade, Jan. 20, 2017. The last and largest of the units marching in the parade, VMI's cadets have played a role in inaugural ceremonies since 1909. More than 5,000 military members from across all branches of the armed forces of the United States, including Reserve and National Guard components, provided ceremonial support and Defense Support of Civil Authorities during the inaugural period.
