ZAGAN, Poland – Soldiers from 1st Battalion, 8th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, conduct routine maintenance on an M1A2 Abrams Tank Jan. 24. The tanks, which had been fired last week, were in the maintenance bays getting routine work done on them. The tanks, and the Soldiers arrived in Poland earlier this month from Fort Carson, Colorado. 1st Bn., 8th Inf. Regt. will push out to Romania and Bulgaria early next month as part of a nine-month deployment in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve.
