Imperial High School hosts the sixth Frankie Ramos Memorial JV Wrestling Tournament, Jan. 7, 2017 in Imperial, Calif. Frankie Ramos was a Lance Cpl. in the U.S. Marine Corps and passed away March 19, 2010 while serving as a recruiting aid. The tournament was started by Tirso Lara, Frankie’s wrestling coach when he attended Imperial, in order celebrate Frankie’s life and to motivate and inspire young wrestlers in Southern California.
