ZAGAN, Poland – U.S. Ambassador to Poland Paul W. Jones addresses U.S. Soldiers, assigned to the 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, and Polish soldiers during a welcome ceremony at Karliki range, Zagan, Poland, Jan. 30, 2017. The ceremony welcomed American Soldiers from 3rd ABCT, 4th Inf. Div., to Poland, and also featured the first live fire training exercise between the two nations. U.S. Soldiers assigned to the brigade are conducting realistic live fire training to prepare for exercises across Europe, as part of Atlantic Resolve. Future exercises will enhance deterrence capabilities in the region, improve the U.S. ability to respond to potential crises and defend allies and partners in the European community.
