Army Pfc. Rolando Mendez, assigned to the 574th Composite Supply Company, 17th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, U.S. Army Alaska, provides security while conducting force-protection sustainment training at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Feb. 2, 2017. During the exercise, paratroopers from the 1st Battalion, 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, shared their infantry skills expertise and also acted as opposition forces.
