There were three Marines selected from the Quantico team that earned honors as champion of the ECR tournament; four selected from the second place team, New River; a Marine and Sailor from Cherry Point; four from the II Marine Expeditionary Force Camp Lejeune team; and two from the Camp Lejeune Division team. The All-Marine camp started Friday and runs through Sept. 16. Daniels will choose the best 15 out of more than 30 Marines and Sailors who came from Marine installations all around the world to compete in the armed forces softball tournament at Navel Air Station Pensacola, Fla., Sept. 18-24.
