U.S. Air Force Gen. Terrence J. O’Shaughnessy, Pacific Air Forces commander, and Chief Master Sgt. Anthony Johnson, Pacific Air Forces command chief, meet with Airmen from the 36th Contingency Response Group during a base visit Feb. 1, 2017, at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. During the visit, O’Shaughnessy and Johnson had the opportunity to see firsthand the capabilities of the 36th CRG. The mission of the 36th CRG is to train, organize, equip and lead cross functional forces providing initial Air Force presence in potentially austere forward operation locations as directed by commander Pacific Air Forces.
