Tug boats guide the guided-missile destroyer USS Cole (DDG 67) to the pier as the ship returns to Naval Station Norfolk. The ship returned two days early from a scheduled 7-month deployment because of Hurricane Earl. Cole deployed to support Standing NATO Maritime Group 2, conducting counter-piracy operations and maritime interdiction operations in the Gulf of Aden and Somali Basin.
