FORT IRWIN, CALIF. – Ms. Dawnn Lewis, a Grammy award winner, was the keynote speaker at the National Training Center’s African American History Month observance, speaking of the issues which still exist amongst the African American community, and minorities as a whole, Feb. 1, 2017. Ms. Lewis has served as a member of the National Advisory Board for the National Center for Civil & Human Rights, and also mentors youth across the country. (U.S. Army photo by Pvt.
