Cpl. Yvgeniy Kulgeyko, Cpl. Daniel Talone, Sgt. Matthew Fechner and Cpl. John Seifert, Marine snipers, provide cover and observation during the assault on motor vehicle Magellan Star Sept. 9. Their actions provided real-time intelligence updates as well as precision fires to the assault force on the location and activities of the suspected pirates.
The nine pirates were taken to the USS Princeton, and the eleven crew members resumed control of their vessel.
