Sailors man the rails of the aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73) as the ship sails out of Manila Bay. George Washington, with its combined crew of more than 5,000 sailors, arrived in Manila Sept. 4, making its second port of call to the Philippine capital since 2009 and its third liberty port call since pulling out of Yokosuka, Japan, for the ship's 2010 summer patrol.
