Taylor is in Murmansk to celebrate the close World War II alliance between Russia and the U.S., and to honor veterans in both countries on the 65th anniversary of the end of World War II. Taylor, an Oliver Hazard Perry-class frigate homeported in Mayport, Fla., is on a scheduled deployment in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of responsibility.
