A ScanEagle's wing clips the wire on the 50-foot-tall "Skyhook" system at Al Asad, Iraq, Aug. 17. The "Skyhook" system is designed to catch the ScanEagle from flight, as the aircraft has a hook on its wingtip to snag the wire after making contact with it.
