Boatswain's Mate Seaman Hailey Pool (20), assigned to Naval Station Norfolk Port Operation department, is the Blue Jacket of the Quarter 1st quarter. She joined the U.S. Navy to server her country, travel and see what the world had to offer outside of her home town. She has served for more than a year and is originally from Saint Clair Shores, Mich. where she attended Lakeview High School. She occupation is to ensure naval ships come pier side and get underway safely. Her grandfather served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Her favorite sports team is the Detroit Lions and the Detroit Tigers.
