A Military Saves Week brief was held at the Lasseter Theater aboard Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, Feb. 28. Military Saves Week is held annually to teach service members about the resources available to them when it comes to managing their finances. This year the topics covered were the Thrift Savings Plan, the Blended Retirement System and Financial Fraud. Representatives from Navy Mutual Aid, Personal Financial Management, MCAS Beaufort and Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, and the securities division of the Attorney General’s office spoke at the brief.
