Esparza, a native of Los Angeles, and Lucas, a native of Inwood, N.Y., are automotive organizational mechanics with Headquarters and Services Battery, 3rd Low Altitude Air Defense, Marine Wing Support Group 37 (Reinforced), 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing (Forward). They make up to three trips to the lot per week.
